A JOURNEY TO THE OPEN LANDS . . .
After packing for extremely cold weather . . . . I arrive in a thick cardigan, jeans and engineering boots to find that I was one of less than 5 girls on the streets of Kingston who were not wearing short shorts with a vest top!
Aside from that, first impressions are BIG – the houses are bigger, the roads are bigger, the cars are bigger, the people are bigger, the list goes on 😉
On arrival I ventured down to the beautiful Ontario lake and then jumped straight into a residence tour which is where the Frosh Week fun began. With one difference, in Canada Frosh Week is ‘dry’, aka NO ALCOHOL!!! A shocker to the British 😉
