Yesterday marked the end of my work experience placement with Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT).

5 weeks at this insurance broker firm went by incredibly quickly. As I pushed open the transparent front door and walked out of this building for the last time, my memory takes me through the entire journey once more…The interesting things I did, the rather mundane tasks which I happily got on with, the fascinating people who crossed my path… It all came rushing back to me.

Undeniably, I was most nervous on my first day. As I got ready for work in the morning, I couldn’t stop checking the time. Fear of being late and of setting a bad impression seriously overwhelmed me!
